I have always had healthy hair for the most part. I have cut my hair, added extension, many protective styles, perms etc etc. After I had my daughter my hair just changed.
Now its important that we find out the source of what is causing the thinning, damage and loss so we can address the problem directly. Many people have parents who have experienced hair loss so at times , hair loss can be hereditary . Yea, no one wants to hear the "HEREDITARY " bomb . It's like someone saying, Eh, it's over for you!
There is good news though! Even with genetic hair loss.
Did you know that certain foods can disagree with your personal gene pool? There are some foods that can actually be damaging to your DNA (Processed, GMO, Unnatural sugars and bleached wheats etc etc). There may be foods your family is allergic to , foods that have been passed down through tradition that causes your body to go into shock . When you consume a food that disagrees with your body, your body will act as if a pathogen has entered in to it. This will cause your immune system to kick in, Your body will start pulling vitamins and white blood cells to fight the FOOD!! . Now imagine if you are consuming this problem food all the time!? Your Body will eventually become vitamin deficient and Your immune system will weaken. The affects of your depleted body will begin showing in your teeth, hair, skin, eyes, nails and over all health.
So Firstly, I'd suggest removing all processed foods. This will positively affect every thing from your weight to your finger nails.
Now, Ok, lets pretend you've done the above. Now what? One of the things you can do ( accessible to everyone) is massage your head, Massaging your head will increase the blood flow to your scalp. When you are watching T.V or just waiting for those clothes in the dryer massage away!!
Secondly did You know the "RO" in Rogaine comes from the herb Rosemary?
Yes!! Rosemary is powerful generally but Rosemary promotes hair growth, Here is a link so you can learn more :: http://www.remediesandherbs.com/how-to-use-rosemary-for-treating-hair-loss/
Basically all you have to do is make a rosemary decoction, A decoction is where you take rosemary stalks and boil them for about 15 minutes. Place the liquid ( with the rosemary stalk) into a glass jar and let it steep for 6-8 hours. Once it's steeped properly, add it to a spray bottle and use generously on your hair. it smells great so you do not need to rinse it, unless you prefer to, in that case let it set for at least a hour before rinsing.
Now in addition I would also recommend a Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar wash. ACV strengthens the Keratin in your hair . It also moisturizes your hair and removes dandruff, fungus, bacterial infections and dirt build up which promotes a healthy scalp, after all your scalp is the soil of which your hair grows.
Lastly, per this regime, I'd recommend a hot oil treatment of PURE ORGANIC non refined Coconut oil 2-4 times, depending on dryness, a month
